hi friends

happy sunday

let's slow down a little, shall we?

do it afraid

I love this phrase.

I laughed out loud recently when I saw someone describe me as someone who could have "confidence as my middle name."

If only they knew how unsure of myself I was just a few years ago. If only they knew that I still feel unqualified for many of the opportunities that I say yes to.

My confidence does not come from a lack of fear, but from the continual practice of doing things afraid.

My self-assuredness does not come from a lack of mistakes, but from the assurance that even my shaky voice can speak up to make a difference.

Find something that matters more to you than your own insecurities, and you'll be amazed at the strength you'll find to do things afraid.
